Mud Dept. is the home of contemporary handmade ceramics from potter and artist Lea Durie.

Intentionally created to inspire mindful, peaceful moments in the everyday—each piece is hand-crafted from Lea’s home studio nestled in the mountains of the Southern Tablelands in Braidwood NSW, on Walbunga Country.

Functional and beautiful, Mud Dept. tablewares are designed and made using earthy clays and a unique reduction fire technique which provides the lovely muted shades and textural finishes that are distinctive to Lea’s style.
